The Balzac coffee table reflects Tom's interest in geometric and sculptural forms and the strength of sheet metal. Balzac is made of sheet steel, with tops in bronze or brass, either polished, dull polished or with an aged patination.
It is shown here finished in "Bridge Red" with a gold plated top. The top is originally made of steel, which is taken straight from the mill and then plated in 24 carat gold. In this way it retains the wonderful texture of its industrial origins, but with a beautiful gold plated finish.
Steel base with a standard finish.
