Celebrating the hope and lucent beauty of Spring
The inception of Spring is a moment of beauty reborn, the resurrection of nature in the light of the new season, celebrating the defeat of Winter. Haberdashery were moved to celebrate this song of seasons by creating a singularly beautiful sculptural light installation.
Each single flower has a unique character through its own delicate form: victoriously fragile, collectively radiant. Each Bloom bud captures this exquisite effect through delicate porcelain petals illuminated by integrated light sources to radiate warmth from the heart of the flower. A combination of finishes and individually affixed petals, complemented by precious stems and studs provide variations of open and closed aspects.
Minimal ceiling plates and fine braided cables suspend the Blooms in inverse meadows of intricate light, heightening the impression of emergence. Individual flowers unite to create unique collective arrangements, amplifying the radiant effect, with shape and size options to suit any location. The sculptures are arranged in Blanket, Conical and Scandent compositions to reflect the flow and sweep of natural arrangements, evoking the collective flourish of Spring’s potential.
The cumulative effect of the compositions create intricate patterns and play of light across the space, highlighting the inherent variety and beauty in natural forms. The light not only draws the viewer inwards but imbues the wider space with warmth, bringing an emotive expression of the hope and potency of Spring into the space.
If required, each of the standard compositions can be customised through Haberdashery’s composition design service, ensuring maximum impact and satisfying engagement for every location.
