Cloud Console

This kintsugi-style take on Tom Faulkner's classic Cloud shape marries contemporary craft with the Japanese technique of golden joinery. The top begins in separate pieces, which are hammered to produce an entrancingly elemental 'Moon' finish. They're then joined through a process of brazing, which fuses the sections together to produce a network of golden rivulets, unifying the surface. It sits on top of tapered legs, forged using a traditional blacksmith's technique, creating a distinctive, textured surface which pairs beautifully with the craggy top above.
