Jak Dining Chair

The Jak chair is simple, clean, and comfortable. It has a pared back but beautifully elegant profile. It is extremely light (made of aluminum), versatile, and colorful.

"This chair has been in my head and on the drawing board for a while" says Tom Faulkner "and it finally started to materialize in three dimensions at the end of last year. I wanted to make something very practical, not too formal, but at the same time very smart. I had the twentieth century modernists in the back of my mind - I was thinking of Jean Prouvé's Standard chair, and the Gio Ponti's Superleggera chair, both smart and modest. I wanted to make a chair for the twenty first century."

The Jak chair can be finished in any of Tom Faulkner's standard or specialist finishes, and is equally elegant upholstered in fabric or leather.
The Jax chair can be upholstered in either TF leather or the Customers Own Leather (COL) or Material (COM).

Fabric quantity needed: 0.75 sqm / 0.9 sq yd / 8 sq ft per chair (fabric), 1/4 a hide per chair (leather)
Leather colors available on request.
