Twin bases made of triangular tapering spears which beautifully and seamlessly nest together. Close observation of the base reveals an interesting - and initially unexpected - asymmetry. Simple to look at but complex to achieve. Each leg is made individually - by hand. The top shown here is a wonderful light grey rippled sycamore veneer. "Fiddleback" - as it is sometimes called. Beautiful to look at and beautiful to the touch. The base of the Phoenix dining table can be made in steel and finished in any of Tom Faulkner's standard finishes, or made in bronze and polished to a mirror finish. The top can be made from any of Tom Faulkner's solid wood or veneer finishes.
