Summer Meadow Loops

This is one of four ranges exploring seasonal shifts within the context of a wildflower meadow. Each of these ranges focuses on key elements within every meadow: water, energy, buds, stems and most fundamentally light, looking at how they present within a particular season.

In Summer Meadow hand worked glass disks form delicate petals each lit individually to create a soft haze and halos of light. The metal stems are rounded in sections to emphasize the fullness of the season’s growth. These combine to create bountiful compositions of looping curves reflecting the energy of the season.

The overall impression is of vitality and the energetic abundance at the peak of the year.

Compositions are available in variations of size, form and numbers of stems.

The curved aluminum frames are hung from central roses using fine 1.4mm diameter steel cable to create a floating impression.
These roses can either be attached directly into the ceiling or can be hung from a central point.
Additional cables to balance/support larger compositions can either be installed vertically or sent back to the central rose.

The custom 2700K / 90+ CRI LED PCBs are located within the frames and can be accessed easily for maintenance.
Each composition contains a mix of petal shapes in pre-defined positions.
